The ALX Breast bar has won the highest grading of safety and is believed to be the safest breast bar in Europe! Many other brands have tried to imitate us over the years as we set the standards, however the one thing they cannot copy is our collapsible breast bar system.

Trialled, tested, and proven to be the market leader in its innovative design the Royal Veterinary College and the Humberside Fire and Rescue were beyond impressed with the efficiency and reliability of the mechanism in the breast bar. 

It is made from a high strength 80mm smooth and edge free aluminium tube that is mounted upon an aluminium track either end using our own ALX original designed safety pins. These pins are our signature tool in enabling the upmost safety in our ALX 21x, upon receiving a down force pressure greater than 150kg the pins quickly release allowing the breast bar to follow the tracks and slide to the floor.

The ALX collapsible breast bar is situated directly in front of the horses chest at a height of 1.3m (This can be altered during the build process to a specific height that suits your horse if needed). It is mounted on an aluminium track so that when the bar does drop it slides straight down to the floor and is secured there, creating no further hazard by rolling around. This also makes it easier to slide back up into place where it can be easily and quickly re-installed.

In an emergency there is a mallet in the horse area which we provide, a sharp single hit on the indicated pressure points and the breast bar will release in the same way. You can then easily, safely and calmy remove your horse through the oversized rear doors and exit through the back if needed.

We will supply all customers with a set of pins for future proofing the use of your horsebox and the good thing is they can easily be replaced by yourself.
