Chantelle is a self-made 27 year old showjumper from North Yorkshire, which seemed fittingly into our ethos by supporting our local up and coming elite equestrians.  

 

Home-based Chantelle started in BSJA as a Junior, by the time she was ready to move onto seniors she had many accolades including: HOYS winner, HOYS runner-up and placings, Bluechip winner, SCOPE Festival winner, Home Pony Internationals, Hickstead and many other National titles.

From a young age she has always home produced her own ponies which shows in her results - Moving onto todays times Chantelle has a string of horses that she has single handedly produced in her own time. 

​

Chantelle not only runs her family based company Duggan Equestrian with her mother but is a full time employee of NFU, she is a truly dedicated sportswoman who manages to juggle professional competitions, daily riding and a highly skilled job!

“All my spare time is dedicated to the horses. At the minute I ride 5 a day before/after work and I spend my weekends at shows”

A true testament to her resilience is when Chantelle broke her neck in 2019, she had 3 fractures to 2 vertebrae’s, a slipped disk and needed surgery to prevent paralysis. Within 12 months of recovering from this life changing event she then had to have surgery to pin her broken collar bone which was 2.5cm apart! She bounced back by qualifying for Hickstead and HOYS 2021 within a quick succession of 2 days.

We are unbelievably excited to announce our partnership with Chantelle and her horses including Linton De Chapelle. We are wishing her all the best of luck for the rest of 2021 and are sure she will do everyone proud!
